Day of Arafah - Dhul Hijjah

The 9th of Dhul Hijjah — the Day of Arafah — is one of the most sacred days in Islam. A day when sins are forgiven, du’as are answered, and rewards are multiplied beyond measure.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year.” (Muslim)

But beyond fasting and du’a, this is a day to act — to give in Sadaqa, to support those in need, and to earn Allah’s pleasure.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Hellfire than the Day of Arafah.” (Muslim)
