In the Hadramout Governorate, children with special needs face severe barriers to education due to ongoing humanitarian and economic hardship. Many students live far from specialised schools, and safe, affordable transport is extremely limited.
As a result, children with disabilities often miss school regularly or are unable to attend at all, placing emotional and financial strain on families and limiting the children’s educational and social development.
Sadaqa Welfare Fund aims to improve access to education by providing reliable school transportation for special needs students in Hadramout.
This project will fund the purchase of:
Two 2026 Toyota Hiace buses
13-seater capacity per bus
Dedicated transport between students’ homes and school
These buses will ensure students can attend school safely, consistently, and with dignity.
Reliable transport means:
Consistent school attendance
Reduced burden on vulnerable families
Greater inclusion for children with disabilities
Improved learning and social development
Education should not be denied due to distance or disability.
By supporting this project, you help remove a critical barrier to education and enable children with special needs to learn, grow, and participate fully in society.
Support the School Transport Buses Project in Yemen and help children reach their classrooms safely and consistently.
