Our Centre WA

The Muslim community has grown in Western Australia over the last 30 years. This growth has seen a
need for more facilities for the community. Places of worship have been established, but what is required is more than that!
1. We need a place where the youth can come to not only worship spiritually but physically, too.
2. We need a place where positive and informative dialogue can take place to make sure that the correct ideals of Islam are explained.
3. We need a place where people who require assistance will be catered for by experienced people.
4. We need a place where there are facilities and services available to the Muslim community.
It is because of this foresight that Our Centre Ltd was created.
We envision Our Centre to be the hub for all the requirements of the Muslim community, and for this to happen, we are planning to purchase land to establish a centre. Once the land is purchased, then we will go further with our plans to build facilities that will achieve the goals. 
Our Centre has been created with the goals and ideals to make sure that the Muslim community has a place where they can turn to for assistance but also a place where, with all the programs and facilities that we plan to create, inspire the Muslim community to be upstanding, productive and positive members of society.
Our Mission:
To run a Centre that facilitates services that leads to spiritual upliftment of the Muslim community.
Our Goals:
1. A self-sustaining centre that provides services, is accessible and accommodates the growing Muslim community
2. Establish worship services for the Muslim community
3. Provide Islamic education to all
4. Provide self-improvement programs
5. Provide high-quality services at a professional level
6. Proactive in maintaining strong relationships with the wider community
 
Our Centre aims to procure land which allows them to conduct (but not limited to) the following activities. These activities will enable the centre to fulfil the goals outlined in this document:
Facilities:
1. Worship Centre (Masjid)
2. Funeral facilities
3. Multipurpose Hall (for events, hire, weddings etc)
4. Indoor sports complex (soccer, basketball, racket sports, martial arts etc...)
5. Gym (men and women)
6. Modern Classrooms
7. Meeting rooms
8. Offices/consultation rooms (counselling, hijama, welfare services, marriage services etc...)
9. Shops (butcher, grocery etc)
10. Cafe / Restaurant
11. Children day-care/ creche
12. Community garden/leisure area/BBQ facilities
13. Outdoor playground/activity area
 
Services:
1. Worship services for all segments (Adults, children, men, women, old, young, families, single,
physically challenged etc.) of the Muslim community
2. Different levels of Islamic education
3. Counselling Services (families, youth, parents etc.)
4. Camps for youth
5. Education and awareness programs about Islam
6. Mosque open days and related services
7. Community outreach programs
8. Social welfare and charity programs
9. Old age homes & retirement services
