HCYC Land Purchase

The Hillcrest Community Youth Centre (HCYC) was established in 2022 with the vision of empowering youth through Islamic education and moral guidance. Since then, HCYC has been dedicated to providing a supportive space where young people can learn and grow in alignment with Islamic principles. 

Our Mission and Need
We have recently signed contracts to purchase a block of land in Hillcrest, which is zoning specialised centre, and we have just until 30th April  to complete the settlement. This property will serve as the permanent home for HCYC’s programs, allowing us to expand and provide a safe, nurturing space for even more youth to benefit from our education and mentorship.

Our Programs
HCYC offers a variety of programs aimed at strengthening the faith and development of youth in our community:

Shajarah Program

Led by Sheikh Hamid, this program focuses on imparting deep Islamic knowledge, Quranic education, hifz programs, spiritual teachings, and moral guidance to youth.

Taraweeh Prayers & Jummah prayers
Led by Qari Fida Rahman, this program provides guidance and opportunities for young hifz to perform taraweeh prayers.

Darussalam Quran Classes (Sundays)
Darussalam Quran Classes take place every Sunday, providing young learners with the opportunity to memorize and recite the Quran, while understanding its meanings and application in daily life.

Create a Safe and Peaceful Environment
At HCYC, we aim to create a peaceful and supportive space where youth and their families can engage in meaningful Islamic education, pray, and form strong connections with their community. We strive to provide a nurturing environment that helps foster spiritual growth, mental well-being, and a sense of belonging to their Islamic faith.
