Giving Water is the best form of Charity - Prophet Mohammad (SAW)

Ummah Water Station will be a Clean drinking Water Station and Desalination Plant that is being built adjacent to Masjid Al-Salihin in Gaza - Palestine. Located in the neighbourhood of Almughraqa, the area has a population of over 1100 people and 150+ houses who will benefit from this Water Station. The Water Station will be built next to a Masjid allowing for our brothers and sisters to use the water for drinking and whudu. Our Team will dig up to 100 Metres deep to access clean drinking water.

The international community has described the water problem in the Gaza Strip as “catastrophic” where 98% of water sources are contaminated. Families are facing a real challenge in securing a clean water source. According to the report of the Central Palestinian Statistical Bureau, just 11% of Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip have a clean source of water which means only one out of ten families has access to drinkable water.
