A powerful earthquake has struck Syria causing widespread damage, killing 1450+ people and leaving many homeless. Many of the ones affected were refugees leaving in camps who have now been placed in an even tougher situation during the harsh weather. The Syrian government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas and rescue workers are searching through the rubble for survivors. Our team is on the ground providing aid and support as the situation remains dire and there is an urgent need for more resources to help those affected by the disaster.
